This collection contains scanned images of every page of the Gonzaga Catalogs from 1887 to 1930. These early catalogs of Gonzaga College and Gonzaga University contain course offerings, faculty lists, and student register of names. They also list programs from events, organizations and their officers, and special academic awards received by students. In addition to providing college course offerings, Gonzaga College and later Gonzaga University also included a grammar school, Gonzaga High School (later Gonzaga Prep), and a Commercial Course offering classes in typing, bookkeeping, etc.
These catalogs provide a wealth of information for individuals doing genealogy as they give the most accurate list of faculty and registered students, student academic achievements, and commencement programs. Until the 1920s there was no newspaper or yearbook, so these volumes show what events occurred
You can search by word to find a specific person, topic, or event. You can also browse the entire catalog page by page.
